Helping Paws: Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

At Greenmore Farm you will make a difference in the lives of animals and in your life as well. Our volunteers help make the world a more humane place for animals. If you are interested in volunteering at the farm, or fostering a dog, please fill out the appropriate application.

NOTE: To best support our animals, we require volunteers who can make an ongoing commitment. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept volunteers seeking community service hours or short-term/seasonal placements.

Volunteer Commitment

Shifts

We ask volunteers to commit to at least 4 hours per month. - we have weekly and biweekly spots available. 

Age Requirements

  • Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the application.

  • Dog Walkers: Minimum age is 16 and must be accompanied by an adult.  Apply

  • Puppy Room Volunteers: Minimum age is 12 and must be accompanied by an adult.  Apply

Roles

Dog Walking

Help our adoptable dogs get the exercise, enrichment, and love they need!

  • Walk and play with dogs

  • Provide outdoor time and build their confidence

  • Help with leash manners

Puppy Room

​Care for our tiniest rescues with walking, cleaning, and lots of playtime!

​

  • Walk and play with puppies

  • Socialize and comfort them

  • Keep their space clean and cozy
